Thanks for the help. Links were created sucessfully but I'm not sure they work. Squeezecenter doesn't scan them. When I click on the link it itinally says that the link is broken, but then says it's opening. It never opens, but just hangs.
The file browser is broken again and doesn't see the other network computers. However, I am able to bring up the freenas drives using the connect to server function. I had trouble connecting to to squeezecenter and was getting browser time outs and page not found errors. I did a clean install as per the instructions on the debian wiki page and that seemed to help that problem. I'm thinking about starting over with a fresh install of 8.1 and figuring out another way to map the freenas drives. I'm guessing the links are broken because the drives are not mounted properly. What would be the best way to mount the freenas drives in Ubuntu 8.1? CIFS? NFS?
