True to form I put an interim solution in and forgot about this project - however now I'd like to bring it back to life.
Can anyone supply me with more detailed instructions on compiling a Squeezeslave player for a 2.4 Linux kernel, statically linked if that's necessary? I have a vague idea what's going on with Linux libraries but this is a stretch. On a similar note is Squeezeplay a better choice for running headless on very old and low performance (Pentium I 147MHz, 32Mb RAM) computers?
