Hi.

I just ordered a Logitech Squeezebox and It will arrive soon, I hope
:).
However I was planning on getting my Slimserver setup so it's just plug
n' play when I get my squeezebox ;). However, I'm running into a few
problems which I hope you guys can help me with.

Let's start with specs:
The server im using as slimserver is a debian pc with commandline only
which im SSHing into. It's a descent standard pc, amd 3700, 2gb ram.
no routers or firewalls (maybe linux built-in (iptables idk)?), It gets
it's owns dedicated ip.

I manage to install slimserver by 'apt-get install slimserver'

I can view webinterface if I goto http://localhost:9000 on my server
(only have textbased internet browser so it doesn't look pretty).
Here's my first problem. I can't reach it on the servers dedicated ip
(http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000), only localhost.
So, to be able to edit the settings I portfarwarded 9000+3483 in my SSH
client. Now I can view the webinterface thru http://127.0.0.1:9000 on my
PC.

Here's my second problem. I can stream music through
http://127.0.0.1:9000/stream.mp3 but I can't hear anything when trying
to play my tunes in the player to the right in the interface.
usually it plays maybe 3 seconds, then going back to 00:00. plays for
10 seconds, going back to 00:00 etc. but i can't hear the song, even
though I put volume on max.

So to shorten it up:
1. I can't reach Slimserver webinterface on http://<dedicated ip>:9000,
only localhost.
2. streaming doesn't work using player in inteerface, however
/stream.mp3 works.

If you have any idea what the problem can be, dont hesitate to reply!

p.s musicfiles are working
here's a screenshot over webinterface:

Thanks in advanced!
