I have seen some other threads that have similar issues, but I haven't
found a solution yet.

I installed SC 7.3.2-24695 today. Everything seems to work ok, but I
can't scan my library.

I have deleted my MySQL database. When I restart SC, it automatically
initiates a scan and I see the following in my logs:

Code:
--------------------

  COULDN'T SET LOCALE CORRECTLY
  [09-02-22 23:08:03.1840] Slim::Networking::Async::DNS::init (102) Warning: No

  The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with SqueezeCenter:
  GD (loaded 2.35, need 2.35)

  To fix this problem you have several options:
  1. Install the latest version of the module(s) using CPAN: sudo cpan
Some::Module
  2. Update the module's package using apt-get, yum, etc.
  3. Run the .tar.gz version of SqueezeCenter which includes all required CPAN
modules.

  [09-02-22 23:17:22.0824] SLIM::SCHEMA::WIPECACHES (1453) WIPED ALL IN-MEMORY
CACHES.
  [09-02-22 23:17:24.4987] Slim::Utils::Firmware::downloadAsyncError (534)
Warning: Firmware: Failed to download
http://update.squeezenetwork.com/update/firmware/7.3.2/jive.version (Timed out
waiting for data), will try again in 10 minutes.

--------------------

Is this a locale problem? Is this a GD problem?

Note: I commented out the reference to Encode:Detect in Unicode.pm
because I couldn't get the Encode::Detect to compile. I ran into the
"No input file specified, no output generated" error when making the
perl module.

Here is my Solaris information:

Code:
--------------------
    SunOS storage 5.11 snv_78 i86pc i386 i86pc
--------------------

And my Perl information:

Code:
--------------------
    bash-3.2# perl -v

  This is perl, v5.8.8 built for i86pc-solaris-thread-multi

--------------------

My Perl and the other dependencies were obtained from Blastwave.
