I am having a problem with aac files on my slimp3-ubuntu-itunes library setup. No problems at all when running sqeezecenter on the mac directly. All aac files play properly.
When I run it on the ubuntu system, a few aac files play 3-4 secs and then skip to the next song. Many of the other aac files play until about 10 seconds of the song is left and then cut off and skip to the next song. Some play all the way through. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this. Here is my setup... - Itunes library rdist'd off of my OSX running mac. Songs and playlists are recognized and work fine with mp3 files and many aac files. - AAC support set up using ffmpeg either directly or passing converted stream to lame. Same results either way. - latest version of squeezecenter freshly installed. - latest ffmpeg freshly compiled with lamemp3 support. - Ubuntu version 8.04 (hardy heron). here is the info screen from the server Version: 7.3.2 - 24695 @ Mon Jan 19 17:13:58 PST 2009 Hostname: harry Server IP Address: 192.168.1.xxx Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: i686-linux Perl Version: 5.8.8 - i486-linux-gnu-thread-multi MySQL Version: 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4 Total Players Recognized: 1 Here are the two mostly working conversion commands from the custom-conf file on ubuntu: mov mp3 * * [ffmpeg] -v 0 -i $FILE$ -f mp3 -acodec libmp3lame -ab 320k - mov mp3 * * [ffmpeg] -v 0 -i $FILE$ -f wav - | [lame] -m -s -r --silent -q 2 -s 44.1 - - -- adspguy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adspguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=25895 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60711 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
