Actually, there isn't any need to do anything with Firefox. 
Squeezecenter automatically starts on boot.  The only need to open
Firefox is if you want to control your Squeezebox via the web
interface.

However, in order to automatically mount your external disk, your fstab
file will have to be changed.  The tool on the following page might
help:
