Change the path back because SC always looks in its own Bin directories and the plugin Bin directories before the system path. Adding the SC Bin to the system path may create a circular search.
Did you test whether the SC faad works on Solaris ? I have my doubts. The "because required capability T not supported" is normal - SC is trying for the best match and faad (or mplayer for that matter) do not support "T" so SC will take the next match which will be faad but SC will then suppress ffw/rew capabilities Get rid of "-q" on faad and it will produce messages that can be seen if SC is run from a shell prompt. Also run with player.source set to DEBUG copylogs into a file, zip and attacj to a post. Do not edit the log as sometimes the absence of message is as important as the presence of a message. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61275 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
