I'm trying to get a SB1 to play Napster streams using SC 7.3.2 on a Linux server (Synology NAS CS407 running SSODS).
I have various WMA and AlienBBC streams playing fine but I cannot get Napster streams to play and having read this thread I'me even more confused, in one post it seems that external transcoding will not work for Napster streams then there seems to be a possibility that they will with the appropriate convert.conf ? Can anyone help clear my confusion :) ? (1)Unlike bnewts I get "Invalid Credentials" and no apparent attempt to stream. So perhaps my problem lies right here ! :) Am I right in thinking that Napster credentials are only entered within the SqueezeNetwork accounts section ? OR am I supposed to enter my Napster account details within SC somewhere ? (2)Do I need SC 7.3.3 instead of the SC 7.3.2 I'm using with the Napster plugin ? Just for info I am using the flipflip modified mplayer-stdout binary for the Synology DS platforms. Any hints ?
