I heard this is fixed in the current beta releases. It is a common problem (see 'this thread' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64400&highlight=dns+linux)) with SC 7.3.3
My fix for it, that seems to hold, is to start SC at the very end of the boot process. By adding extra time between network setup and SC startup, SC "sees" better the networking environment.
