I have what appears to be an identical problem. Ubunutu 9.04. Version: 7.3.4 - 27864
I've had my music split onto two drives since the arrival of my original SB1. Always worked. Just recently (upgrade to 7.3.4?), my kids noticed that they couldn't access their tracks. Sure enough, they were right. I have all of the same symptoms recorded here I believe. All the permissions seem fine. My only additional clue, and reason for writing here, is that when I navigate the Music Folders from the Squeezecenter directly (whether on one of the units or the browser front end), going to the directory in question fails to give a directory listing, but instead I get an informational menu telling me that I'm looking at something of "File Format: Directory" and a "Location" of the directory name. Within the browser, that Location links to a URL (http://192.168.1.101:9000/music/73875/download to give you an idea) *that hangs forever*. I'm happy to provide log files, etc., if anyone is interested. If someone has discovered an answer, any followup would be greatly appreciated.
