I'm getting ready to take the plunge and upgrade to 7.4. I've been
reviewing a lot of threads, trying to make sure I'm aware of any
"gotchas" associated with this upgrade. I've got a question concerning
folder/file permissions on my music library with version 7.4.

I'm currently running version 7.3.3 on a Fedora 11 box. In my music
library I have all files and folders owned by by my account (jrw), and
also the group is set to my group (jrw). I have the permissions set on
all folders as 775 and on all files as 664. As far as I remember I have
been running this way forever (I have a pre-Logitech SB2) and have never
run into any issues. In reading through some of the threads in this
forum I've seen a couple of people mention potential issues because of
the owner name change of slimserver/squeezecenter (or whatever it's
called now) and this new "user" not having access to the music folder.

Am I going to run into any permissions issues with this upgrade? As I
said I don't remember ever having my music folder with user or group set
to "squeezecenter" and I've never had issues.

TIA,
John
