The audio/squeezeboxserver port currently in the ports tree is ( at the moment ) just a copy of the audio/squeezecenter port. It will be updated to version 7.4.0 soon. I will post a message when it is.
You don't need to uninstall the squeezecenter port ( both squeezecenter and squeezeboxserver can be installed at the same time ) but you have to stop squeezecenter before installing squeezeboxserver. All your preferences ( for the server and your plugins ) wiil be copied from the squeezecenter installation.
