A delay of a few days to update the debian repos seems to be a common occurrence, although some releases are better than others in this regard. You could open a bug for it at http://bugs.slimdevices.com to make sure it stays on the developers' radar screen, but check first to see if there is an existing bug (I couldn't find one). Until that's addressed, you're left with either (1) waiting for the repo to be updated, or (2) downloading the .deb and installing via dpkg. Depending on how badly I want the new release, either works fine for me.
