Hi, Same here .. Did a update to 7.4.1 and scanner service stop without any debug logging. It just stopped. removed everything (all dirs/files) and reverted to a version i installed before. Still didn't scan everything .. about the same place 5000 of 30000 mp3s. (but not the same mp3 it failed on!!!) Had to go back to version 7.3.3 !
Hopefully a fix will be made in the near future ..
