I tested the install instructions on a fresh SME7 virtual machine and all went well, I have written up a how-to at http://wiki.contribs.org/SqueezeBoxServer. I have credited you in the how-to and linked to your perl510.tgz, I hope that's ok, if not I can host it myself. There is a minor error in your page, two of the three files to be patched need their names changing to: /usr/libexec/squeezeboxserver /usr/libexec/squeezeboxserver-scanner The third keeps the same name but here is the complete path: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/bootstrap.pm Thanks again for your help.
