Guys/Gals, I remember, but I misplaced, a thread where some of you said writing to a CF was not so bad after all. I have a spare Alix board, I ponder changing its destiny from capable firewall to capable Squeeze server. I know exactly how to do that with a microdrive. I wonder what would happen if I set linux + SC in motion over, say, an ext2 fs on a flash CF card. (The music files would stay on a spinning drive.)
