Hi all, hi developers, Last night I had to update my "Squeezebox Server" software. Well, works now, but I can't understand some changes made to the software.
Slimserver is nearly forgotten. Squeezecenter made all new. New user-id, new group-id, new directories, new plugins. And now? Squeezebox Server. I thought an update from 7.3 to 7.4 is something called a minor upgrade. It's not. And again, new user-id, new group-id, new directories ... An rpm-upgrade has left a lot or garbage in the filesystem. All these on fedora. Every time you have to take care of all these things. Not nice. There is (maybe) an other bug. After changing plugins the webgui asks for a server restart. And after that it was not possible to stop/start/restart the server on the command line. But I'll check that. I hope that one day there are no more change in all these things.
