Hi all,

This is an embarassingly basic question, I'm afraid.

I am trying to upgrade my squeezebox server to 7.4.2, as the link tells
me to on the web interface. I clicked the link and downloaded the rpm
into a user's home directory.

I opened up YAST -> Software Management. I installed the newly
downloaded .rpm as a 'local directory' type of repository and installed
it through software management in the usual way..and progress bars flash
and all seems well.

However, when I open up the web interface I still get the 'newer
version available' link at the top of the page, so it seems that the
install didn't work (and now I wonder where the hell it /did/ get
installed to?)

Can anybody help me with a link to a how-to, or even do a how-to right
here?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Cheers
Jim
