About 2 weeks ago, the server stopped responding. I tried rebooting a few times--the controller couldn't find it, nor could my web browser. I installed 7.5. Then uninstalled it, uninstalled 7.4x, re-downloaded 7.5 and installed from scratch. I get this error message:
Your locale was detected as C, you may have problems with non-Latin filenames. I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.3 in 64-bit mode, headless, on a home-built AMD system with 2GB RAM. I access the server through my web browser. Also note that I've been getting the web browser message that it can't find the server port 9000. Even when it does, it takes a long time (several minutes) to load any Squeezeboxserver screen, and displays no library at all. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. -- Dean L.
