I am currently using 7.6 from the debian unstable repo, works like a charm atm. :-) atm because I shortly went back to 7.5.x from testing because there were some WebUI problems for a day or two. Still missed the responsiveness of 7.6 so much that I switched soon back to it and no more problems so far. :-) I purged 7.5 and deleted my squeezeboxserver preferences folder to be on the secure side, but that may be completely over-cautious. Will check the repo thread now as suggested to see what's up.
