I have just bought a sheevaplug, basd on forum recommendations. Following instructions I had it up and running in no time flat, using the debian squeeze card that NewIT was selling with the multiboot version.
Now - question. I want to use it in our holiday home as a standalone setup - ie no other computers/network/telephone - nothing. I want to plug USB HD with music ito the sheevaplug, the sheevaplug into the wall, and the slimplayer into the sheevaplug and amplifier. How do I set up the sheevaplug in this case? As a static IP?
