Hi,

Linux newbie...

I have a new installation of SBS 7.5.1 on a SheevaPlug running Debian
6.0. It all seems fine on the web gui. Music files are on an external
USB drive, ext3 all mounted fine so far as I can tell. Files can be
accessed across the network as samba shares so I know they are there!

But the SBS scanner does not find any music. Scanner log shows scanner
looking at the right folder but does not find any files. Actually there
are no files in the music folder, just subfolders. Music folder uses the
iTunes folder structure.

USB disk was previously attached to Slug (NSLU2) acting as NAS and
folders/files were created on the NAS by iTunes running on a Mac.
Could there be some permissions problem stopping the SBS scanner from
"seeing" the subfolders within the main music folder?

Thanks
