Hi,

In the past, there has been a problem with the squeezeboxserver service
starting before the network services on linux/fedora at boot. When that
happens squeezeboxserver can't successfully perform DNS lookups and
fails to connect to the Internet. Other linux commands, e.g. ping, are
invoked after the network is "up," and thus work correctly.

A quick way to see if there is a DNS/network issue is to try a command
line "service squeezeboxserver restart" Then see if squeezeboxserver
connects to the Internet/mysqueezeboxserver.

If this works, a more permanent solution/workaround is to delay the
startup of squeezeboxserver until after the network is up.

Good Luck!
