Continuing to log my efforts. Eventually I will arrive at a solution
with the help of the Linux community, this place or dumb luck.
I reinstalled Ubuntu and squeezeboxserver, rescanned my music library
and viola! I was able to view the music library on the controller and
via {url}http://localhost:9000[/url]. That was yesterday. Today, no
dice. Now I've got a slew of new error messages.

I rebooted my system around midnight, early this morning and went to
bed around 3am. I left my computer on, turned off the controller and
the receiver and the stereo. Today at about 5pm when I tried to listen
to music again and nothing came out, here is what the log showed:

I tried to rescan the music library from scratch but the "Library
Statistics" entry on the "Information" page indicated "No music library
configured".
And then I got 15 lines of this:

one for each track. That's the album it was on when I powered down the
controller at 3am.

I'm about to turn everything back on to see if I can get it working
again. I'll also hunt around elsewhere to see if I can find a solution.
Also, in trying to post excerpts from my log, I am told that I have
included 5 images in my message and am limited to 4. I haven't included
any images or smiley faces. Just text from my log and a command. Any way
around seeing this message?
