If you want to include log file output - it is best to save it in a plain text file (zip it if necessary) and then attach to a post - this will enable a large log to be added to a single post.
The Squeezenetwork issues seems to be erratic but is not associated with mysql. Regarding the "uninitialise $socket" - since the prefs files has the correct value I think the warning message can be ignored for the moment. You should use the log setting database.mysql to get more log info on mysql database startup.
