I'm trying to figure out why I can't find a particular set of songs on
my HDD. They were in the compilations directory, so I took them out.
I put them in the base directory where all my other files are, but none
of the 'compilations' are showing up in Squeezebox.

I have 4700 songs, but only 3700 are showing up in SC.

I am running Ubuntu, the latest version of SC, and I have completely
erased and done a full scan.

I'm not certain that the 1000 missing songs encompass what were the
contents of the compilations directory. These were files from iTunes,
is it possible that iTunes sets a 'compilation' flag that renders them
unreadable by SC?

I can't imagine what else this might be. I do not think it's a
permissions issue either. They are all in the same directory, with the
same permissions.
