Hi there, first post in this forum.

I've been running SBS 7.4x and earlier versions on Ubuntu for two years
and never had any problems. With an upgrade to Natty (x86_64) the SBS
scanner (all versions 7.4x - 7.6.0) struggles to parse CUE sheets with
unicode characters.

My setup:

Version: 7.6.0 - r32466 @ Wed May 25 02:06:01 PDT 2011
Server HTTP Port Number: 9000
Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux
Perl Version: 5.10.1 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.32_02 (sqlite 3.7.5)

An example from the scanner log:

[11-05-29 13:58:49.7987] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Local::new (673)
Handling new playlist
file:///home/xbmc/Music/sqc-music/lossless.real/dld/disc/f978-tool-%C3%A6nima.img/%C3%86nima-Range-flac-retagged.CUE
[11-05-29 13:58:49.8461] Slim::Formats::Playlists::CUE::parse (175)
Error: Couldn't find referenced FILE:
[/home/xbmc/Music/sqc-music/lossless.real/dld/disc/f978-tool-ænima.img/Ænima-Range.flac]
on disk! Skipping!

The XBMC Music scanner has no problems reading/parsing the CUE sheets.
MP3 tags with unicode are being read fine.

Does anyone have a magic trick?
