I'm a little confused about what you are describing - so I'll go over
the steps again.

What version of SBS have you installed on Ubuntu ? I have assumed a
version later than 7.5.0.

On the WebUI Settings/Advanced/File Types page.

There are 3 columns - labelled "File Format" "Stream Formats" and
"Decoder".

The only "File Format" that is of interest is "Windows Media".
Settings on any other "File Format" *must not be changed*.

Under the "File Format" there are 5 "Stream Format" each with a
"decoder" entry drop down box.
Flac
MP3
PCM
WAV
Windows Media.

You are *ONLY* changing the "decoder" of "Stream format" "Windows
Media" from "Native" to "Disabled" and then click "Apply" in the Bottom
right.

You also need to check that the "decoder" entries for the other "Stream
Format" under the "Windows Media" "File format". These "decoder"
entries should have "wmamplayer.sh" as part. If there is no
"wmamplayer.sh" then the PlayWMA plugin has not been installed
properly.

Do you see "wmamplayer.sh" in any of the "decoder" entries ? If not
then check WebUI Settings/Plugins and see if there is an entry for
"Play Windows Media" in the "Active plugins" sections with a "tick" in
the "enable" check box.

If there is no active "Play Windows Media" plugin installed - then
describe how you installed the PlayWMA plugin ?
