Hi everyone! I recently have successfully build squeezeslave on a little ARM Device (NS-K330, snake-os with Debian Chroot) and so far am able to play music and everything seems to work fine, except for the software-volume. Using Alsa, music plays only at 100%, lowering it at anything below 100% results in simply muting the music, setting it to 100% again and it plays as before. Using OSS and the "-v on" switch, it seems to be the same, but this time the sound is distorted when the volume is set to something lower than 100%, but the volume seems to get lowered. with "-v sw" its the same as with alsa. Setting the Volume with alsamixer works as expected.
I dont know how to get on with this, i thought of a problem with portaudio or libmad at first glance, but couldnt find anything related. I tried playing a song with madplay, changing the volume works as expected. -- kleinsimon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kleinsimon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=48181 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88743 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
