Has anyone had any experience on installing the Open-WRT web UI, LuCI, onto a different Linux distro?
http://luci.subsignal.org/trac/wiki/Installation The gist is that I would absolutely love to have the Web UI of a router available to me on the small linux-based SqueezeBox server I'm building. I initially started looking to see if anyone had installed Tomato onto x86 hardware along with a more full Linux distro, but I came up empty. Then I found that the UI for the Open-WRT project had its own development. So this is where I am now. I'd like to use VortexBox as a base as it seems well integrated and provides a number of other features and UI options with a quick and easy install. On top of this I'd like to place any additional dependencies for LuCI and of course LuCI itself. I'm somewhat of a Linux newbie when it comes to layering distributions like this. Any insight and discussion is appreciated. -- MelonMonkey Bruno *'Twisted Melon - External Wired IR Blasters' (http://twistedmelon.com/shop/?show=bug1)* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MelonMonkey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8466 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91386 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
