Attached is a script for Ubuntu 11.10 that will download the svn source code for Logitech Media Server 7.7.1 and create a 'lms' service that will run that code.
This will allow you to have multiple versions of LMS or SBS installed on the same machine. You can't run the multiple versions at the same time, but you can easily switch between versions via, e.g.: #service sbs stop #service lms start Prerequisite: svn must be installed (# apt-get install subversion). Note: This is my attempt at improving this script so as to do away with any requirement that squeezeboxserver or logitechmediaserver be first installed via apt-get or aptitude. I.e., this script is self contained and generates all the service scripts and conf files on its own. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: sbs-svn-setup-ubuntu.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12716| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91441 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
