I have tried these instruction from that page "Instructions for Ubuntu: Editing the sources.list and installing the SqueezeCenter package on Ubuntu can also be achieved using the GUI. Go to System / Administration / Synaptic Package Manager (provide your password). In the Manager select Settings / Repositories and click the Third Party Software tab, click +Add and provide one of the "deb xxx" strings mentioned above. In the first tab Ubuntu software make sure that the Universe is selected as well. After clicking Reload the list of packages will show SqueezeCenter as additional package which will be downloaded and installed along with its dependencies." But when I try to reload I get the errors. I also get an error every time update manager tries to refresh while the slimdevices repository is enabled. Which of the three repositories did you use? Did you get any errors? Is it running ok? Did you do it from the command line or gui? Is there any difference? Should I try from the command line? Thanks for the help btw :-) -- cliver SBS Version: 7.5.3 - r31792 SB Touch 7.5.3 - r9283 Squeezeplay 7.5.3 - r0 Win 7 Ultimate (64 Bit) SP1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cliver's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43289 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91638 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
