I thoughtlessly cleaned up what according to Ubuntu Tweak were redundant
packages(including one marked Logitech) and removed a PPA (Yubuntu I
think) only to find that Leogitech Media Service(LMS) has disappeared
off my computer and when I try to reinstall I get a message:
" E: The package logitechmediaserver needs to be reinstalled, but I
can't find an archive for it.
E: Internal error opening cache (1). Please report."
It appears I have also remove dependencies for this package. Is there
anyone that can help me salvage my LMS installation.
I had previously had problems with Update Manager refusing to complete
updates and naively thought I could fix this through Tweak.

to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
