"Playable as before" when?? I understood that your playlist folder was empty. You mean "before" when it played in VLC?
It could be something wrong with the LMS installation, but I don't really understand why you used the Nautilus and Ctrl-L approach instead of the suggested browse buttons. Not necessarily any harm involved, but just adding another unnecessary variable into the mix.
