I'm a newbie with the Debian-based distribution, so I'm not really sure what this squeezeboxserver_safe glop is supposed to be doing. The comment at the top says it's in case the mysql daemon gets restarted. WTF? All it's doing right now is redirecting useful diagnostics to /dev/null.
I don't suppose this is the place for a rant about upstart. Anyway, to see what it's struggling with: sudo -u squeezeboxserver bash /usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pallfreeman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37667 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96167 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
