Hello, I'm running the latest LMS-7.7.3 on an openSUSE 12.1 (64 bit) machine and from a music point of view it works very well. I however have problems getting the UPnP/DLNA functionality to work. >From my server log one can read:
[12-11-12 22:10:41.1622] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (48) Error: While adding multicast membership, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available [12-11-12 22:10:41.1626] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (56) Error: While setting IP_MULTICAST_IF, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available [12-11-12 22:10:41.1628] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (64) Error: While setting multicast TTL, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available [12-11-12 22:10:41.1635] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (48) Error: While adding multicast membership, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available [12-11-12 22:10:41.1639] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (56) Error: While setting IP_MULTICAST_IF, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available [12-11-12 22:10:41.1642] Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::UDP::mcast_add (64) Error: While setting multicast TTL, UPnP may not work properly: Protocol not available I have seen reports of this error, but I'm not able to figure out the cause or how to fix it.
