I think this Ubuntu specific documentation should be more helpful: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab If you are using the WD hard disk with your notebook and not the Touch directly my advice is to mount it read-only and specify a directory for stuff LMS has to save (like playlists) on the notebooks' hard drive.
