@Triode, Tiny typo in -help: "Disable _ASLA_ mmap output" I test on the same PogoPlug E02 with a regular non-patched Debian kernel (Linux PogoPlug 3.2.0-4-kirkwood #1 Debian 3.2.35-2 armv5tel GNU/Linux). I assume that mmap is enabled and supported.
I tried plughw and hw, both result in problems, but with no asound.conf and with no '-o device' I get clean sound. Also with -o default:CARD=II I get clean sound. I don't quite understand why plughw doesn´t work, but the following sounds clean: squeezelite -o default:CARD=II -d output=debug [21:43:05.325202] output_init:1245 init output [21:43:05.326405] output_init:1248 outputbuf size: 3528000 [21:43:05.326926] output_init:1269 requested buffer_time: 20000 period_count: 4 mmap: 1 [21:43:05.506841] output_init:1291 output: default:CARD=II maxrate: 192000 [21:43:05.507682] output_thread:547 open output device: default:CARD=II [21:43:05.521279] alsa_open:246 opened device default:CARD=II using format: S32_LE sample rate: 44100 mmap: 1 [21:43:05.521906] alsa_open:290 buffer time: 85328 period count: 4 buffer size: 3763 period size: 940 [21:43:10.961856] output_flush:1316 flush output buffer [21:43:11.843352] output_thread:733 track start sample rate: 22050 replay_gain: 0 [21:43:11.844060] output_thread:547 open output device: default:CARD=II [21:43:11.980127] alsa_open:246 opened device default:CARD=II using format: S32_LE sample rate: 22050 mmap: 1 [21:43:11.980687] alsa_open:290 buffer time: 85306 period count: 4 buffer size: 1881 period size: 470 [21:43:35.883393] output_flush:1316 flush output buffer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wilbert-vb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43887 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046
