I can confirm that. Indeed if I restart squeezelite without that –b
option I won’t listen to those 24 bits FLAC files. If I restart
squeezelite with the mentioned –b option everything is fine. The only
issue I have is that I can hear something like
interferences,crackling,buzzing...which I didn't noticed yesterday
because I was too happy because of the results:)

Find attached the 2 logs. The first one is for this scenario:

-squeezelite with the default –b option
-2 tracks played (a 16 bits FLAC with no probs and a 24 bits FLAC file
which is not played )

The second log is for this scenario:

-squeezelite with the –b 256:256 option
-the same 2 tracks played (a 16 bits FLAC with no probs and a 24 bits
FLAC file which is now played but with crackling and buzzing)

Before I forget…I have noticed that whenever I try to play any 24 bits
FLAC files (with the -b default option) from the logitechmediaserver web
page, it looks like the song is starting to play (even though I can’t
hear any sound at all) and say after 3-4 seconds it stops…
