Would it be possible, would it be beneficial, etc etc? I have no experience with such things, so I just don't know.
I was thinking that since packagers include the Perl runtime, LMS could be packaged with a compatible version of Perl, and then it would be portable to (binary-compatible) systems with newer Perl runtimes. How would this be done? Would there be problems with plugins?
