Wow, have to say...sweet work! I am in the middle of setting up a pi based audio system in my house. Currently at the testing stage to make sure everything will play ball; and have spotted an issue (possibly with squeezelite, though maybe with squeeze commander on android...thought I would post here first...if not only to praise you excellent work!).
I have a single pi with LMS and squeezelite, setup via the excellent squezeplug. My second player is the superb SqueezePlayer app on android. I have been controlling the system from a friends android tablet using squeeze commander. The problem I see causes the pi's squeezelite to vanish from the player lists (checked in all of the following: squeeze commander, the logitech controller app on both iPhone and android, the LMS web-based interface). All I do to get this to happen is: - Enter the edit mode (button top left in squeeze commander) - Add the squeezelite player into the SqueezePlayer(android tablet) group. - Exit the edit mode. - Enter the edit mode. - Remove the squeezelite player from the group. - Exit the edit mode. At this point the squeezelite player vanishes! Checking on the pi, the squeezelite process is still active (approx 3% processor usage). Only killing the squeezelite process and restarting it brings the player back in the players lists (on all controller apps). I have tried doing the same on a few other android controller apps, the problem does not seem to happen. Hence thinking it is something that squeeze commander is doing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SteUK's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59485 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
