I just posted an update to the repo (that I mentioned earlier) to
provide a force (-f) option to reboot and halt from the web-gui. There
is a checkbox on the shutdown and the Ethernet/Wireless pages, which if
you select before hitting the buttons, it should never hang. But it
needs more testing before making it the default.
