I should spell out what I mean.... At present the kernel starts up in 1920x1080@60 mode because of the kernel args and this is the resolution the text which occurs on startup is shown at. However jivelite then runs automatically and it opens a skin which will potentially change the resolution. So the question I'm trying to get a feel for is what default skin resolution we should use for jivelite. It seems that we can't rely on automatic detection of resolution and there is one case I am aware of where the 1920x1080p skin resulted in no display on the TV, but the 1280x720p skin works. So looking for people to go to the Settings -> Screen -> Skin menu and change between the two 16:9 HD skins and prove if they can see both. If they can can they reboot and immediately see a display in both cases. [There are 3 versions of the HD skin, but the 1280x1024 is intended for 4:3 monitors rather than TVs] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
