I got my wandboard yesterday, so I started with R4 - never had R3. As you wrote there is not much to configure. Everything else works - even the server.
I do not have an extra card, otherwise I would have tried that. As for wifi the only thing you have to do is choose your network, put in password save & restart and then boot up the device without the lan cable (powering off inbetween, just to make sure) Even a braindead person could cope with this, so after fiddling all day there is definitely soemthing wrong with the wifi setup - or the wandboard wifi is for some strange reason incompatible to my router. Setting up wifi on raspberry pi is even a bit more complicated, since it has an extra dongle - but that was done in a minute. All the SBs, ithingies etc. are working and were also no trouble setting up. Just writing this, so I do not come accross as a complete imbecile (there were moments when I myself was wondering...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Squeezemenicely's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41812 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
