Something I thought about a couple of months ago, but WB ethernet interface does not support wake-on-lan, so you could suspend it, but can't wake it. (That's what I do with my VortexBox servers, manually suspend them, and wake them via LAN.) Stats are fine. Possibly a little more CPU use than I expected, but in the overall scheme of things, neither here nor there. The concern I had about latency when load increases, before core speed is ramped back up, possibly causing audio drop-outs, isn't an issue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
