Hifimediy Sabre DAC:
I tried plughw instead of hw. I got same results. 24b48 & 24b96 are both
playing perfect now. Only 24b88K stutters in de first 5-10 seconds and
after that it seems to play fine (same as hw)
If don't give any -a settings it makes no difference now. In V09 I only
got 16b48K without the -a settings. Now 24b48 & 24b96 are detected
correctly and playing without any problems. Only 24b88K files are
stuttering in the first 5-10 seconds. 24b88K files are still detected as
24b96K when I do cat.

Musical Fidelity V-DAC II
Both hw and plughw are working now. All files are detected correctly.
But I don't have a good feeling listening for longer time. It's of
course much better then in v09 but I think the sound is not stable and
clean. When I compare the original CD sound with the stream (it makes no
difference if I use 16b44 or 24b48/88/96) there is a difference. When
listening to the Pi hicks/pops are hearable who are not in te original
CD. No distortion or clicks just hicks/pops. I don't better way to
explane it.
Hope this helps.
Take care

Willem
