Alberto,

As an aside, rather than talking about what might have been your
issue....... IMHO, it is a complete waste of time using the software
upsampling with the DACMagic. Why? Because regardless of what sample
rate you feed it, internally it upsamples everything to 384k (Anagram
Technologies) and the Wolfson DAC's always receive data at that sample
rate. AFAIK, there isn't any way of bypassing that.

Just thinking out loud. There is a bunch of hardware around that does
192k, but not 176k4. Worst case scenario I suppose, is another resample
via plughw if hardware is 192k capable but doesn't support 176k4
directly.
