Thanks lintweaker. I do know that I need to do the 'sudo rmmod
snd_usb_mytek' and 'sudo modprobe snd_usb_mytek' a few times to get
things working, and have done so now dozens of times. It was my
understanding that R6 required no additional mytek firmware.

Please do tell how I may install the required firmware RPM from the CSOS
testing repo for using the USB2 port on the Mytek.
I am using PuTTY, so what code could I use.

BTW, here's what I've tried many times now. Note that in PuTTY the
following is in red font.

[fedora@wandboard ~]$ lsmod|grep snd_usb_mytek
snd_usb_mytek 15294 0
THE LINE ABOVE IS IN RED FONT?

[fedora@wandboard ~]$ sudo rmmod -v snd_usb_mytek
[fedora@wandboard ~]$ lsmod|grep snd_usb_mytek
[fedora@wandboard ~]$ sudo modprobe -v snd_usb_mytek
insmod /lib/modules/3.0.35-cm53/extra/snd-usb-mytek.ko

[fedora@wandboard ~]$ lsmod|grep snd_usb_mytek
snd_usb_mytek 15294 0
[fedora@wandboard ~]$ exit
