I'm not noticing any problems with IP address assignment on either machine, except on the first boot where not having the correct time on the internal real-time clock may cause the IP address to be reassigned only a few minutes after booting, but subsequently it is okay. This could mean the router has two IP addresses assigned but only one of them is in use by the WB.
