Hi guys.

I would like to start by thanking Steen for this excellent player. I
have it configured on 3 Pi's around the house. Running from LMS on a
Synology NAS.
It works really well.

One thing I did want to do was change the hostname from "BOX" to
something more meaninful, especially since I have 3 on the network.

/etc/hostname is the usual location where this is set, and indeed this
file does contain the hostname. But even after editing and backing up
with the filetool.sh
the changes do not survive a reboot.

The file that needs to edited is /opt/bootsync.sh
edit it using vi, then backup using filetool.sh -b as usual.

On reboot the name should change and /etc/hostname will also reflect
this.

Hope this was useful info.

+1 for a GPIO output which can respond to the power button, and be used
for control of an amp.

Keep up the great work.

Pete
